Fresh snowfall in Himachal Pradesh's Lahaul and Spiti district, along with Manali, has caused temperatures to plummet, officials reported on Wednesday.
With Koksar in Lahaul and Spiti receiving 11.4 cm of snow, tourism stakeholders are optimistic about a surge in visitor numbers.
Light rain fell across the state while Tabo recorded the lowest night temperature at minus 0.7 degrees Celsius. Anticipation of a fresh western disturbance is noted, with October bringing 67.4 mm of rain, surpassing the norm.
