On Friday evening, strong winds swept through the capital city as temperatures adjusted to unseasonal levels. The maximum registered was a cool 32.3°C, significantly cooler by 4.1° than usual.

In contrast, the minimum temperature unexpectedly rose to 20.9°C, exceeding the normal mark by 2.8°, as observed by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Humidity seesawed throughout the day, ranging from a low of 17% to a high of 51%.

Even as the wind pattern is predicted to remain strong on Saturday, Delhi's air quality stayed worrisome with an Air Quality Index (AQI) standing firmly in the poor category at 205. The Central Pollution Control Board anticipates an improvement, forecasting a moderate AQI in the upcoming days.
