Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the completion goal for the Polavaram Project, set for July 2027, to coincide with the Godavari Pushkaralu.
Addressing the press at the project site, Naidu outlined the state government's corrective measures to bring the project back on track after significant delays attributed to past governance failures, which include the loss of the original diaphragm wall.
The project, touted as the 'lifeline' of Andhra Pradesh, promises to revolutionize the state's irrigation, water supply, and power generation capabilities, making it drought-proof and boosting economic stability.
