Arunachal Pradesh Minister Balo Raja has made a strong case for the expedited completion of the permanent terminal building at Donyi Polo airport, raising significant aviation infrastructure issues.
Meeting with Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Raja advocated for better connectivity, urging for more frequent flights between Itanagar and Delhi to enhance accessibility. He also addressed the challenge of high airfare rates, seeking intervention at the highest levels.
As discussions extended to include infrastructure and security concerns, Raja pushed for the inclusion of an aero-bridge in future planning and called for rapid completion of construction projects to ensure the deployment of CISF personnel for airport security.
