The incident unfolded at around 9:50pm near Nature Park, PNGP Colony on Sion-Dharavi Link Road, inciting panic and a major traffic jam in the area. The truck driver was promptly taken into custody by the Dharavi police for further investigation.
Civic officials reported that the level 2 fire was extinguished by 10:07pm with assistance from 19 fire-tenders. Investigations are underway to determine the precise cause of the fire.
