A fire erupted in Dharavi following an explosion of gas cylinders in a truck on Monday night. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported, according to police sources.
The incident was reported at 9:50 pm near Nature Park, PNGP Colony on the Sion-Dharavi Link Road, leading to widespread panic and substantial traffic congestion in the surrounding area.
Authorities have deployed eight fire engines and eight jumbo tankers to tackle the blaze. The cause of the incident is still being investigated, as per civic officials.
