Authorities reported the discovery of two dead female leopards within the Trilokpur forest region in Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur district.
One of the leopards, found in the Badaihar area, died from hunger, while the other, discovered near Maira Kakrol, succumbed to a head injury. Both animals were cremated on Sunday after medical examinations confirmed their causes of death.
This incident comes amid a series of leopard sightings across the district, which have raised concerns among local residents and officials as they work to monitor and manage the wildlife in the area.
