In a surprising turn of events, a leopard attacked two elderly residents in Jalore district, Rajasthan, on Monday.

The attacks occurred in the Kotra area, with the leopard first targeting 63-year-old farmer Chelaram in an agricultural field before entering nearly minutes later Leela Devi's home, where the 58-year-old was attacked.

Villagers, on being informed, promptly arrived and successfully trapped the animal inside a room of Leela's house. The forest department is now taking action to safely rescue the big cat.
