Delhi's industries minister, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, has directed officials to focus on reducing environmental damage from industrial waste and enhancing the city's industrial infrastructure. The minister emphasized the need for sustainable development without compromising on environmental goals.
During a review meeting, Sirsa announced weekly sessions with department officers to ensure timely monitoring and decision-making. ''We aim for industrial growth with environmental safety,'' he stated, pointing out that new measures are being implemented to limit industrial waste while promoting responsible business practices.
The meeting highlighted the importance of responsible waste management and swift infrastructure development, with an added focus on boosting employment opportunities. Sirsa assured that policies encouraging new businesses will be enforced, promoting a sustainable industrial ecosystem in line with the Prime Minister's vision for a developed Delhi.
