A deadly fire broke out at a temporary shelter near Anand Vihar's AGCR Enclave, leading to the deaths of three male laborers, a fire department official revealed on Tuesday.

The Delhi Fire Services were alerted at 2:22 am and promptly responded with three fire engines. The blaze was subdued by 2:50 am, and by 3:10 am, station officer Feroz discovered the charred remains of the men inside.

The deceased, identified as Jaggi, Shyam Singh and Kanta Prasad from Uttar Pradesh, were trapped during the fire, believed to have been ignited by a diesel container. An exploded gas cylinder worsened the situation. Inquiries to find the exact cause of the fire continue.
