The partnership between the National Science Foundation of the United States and India's Anusandhan National Research Foundation marks a pivotal recognition of India's growing scientific prowess. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized that this collaboration is a testament to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision and support, with a significant budgetary provision of Rs 50,000 crore sanctioned for the ANRF.

During Prime Minister Modi's visit to the US, both countries issued a joint statement highlighting this new partnership, which is expected to significantly boost the Indian economy. The Minister also pointed out that this development showcases the increasing global acknowledgment of India's capabilities under PM Modi's leadership.

In addition to scientific collaboration, the Union Budget, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, unveiled ambitious plans, such as achieving 100 GW of nuclear energy capacity by 2047. This follows the successful expansion of the space sector, now worth USD 40 billion and supported by 300 start-ups. Such initiatives are seen as part of a broader strategy for economic and technological advancement.
