The Andhra Pradesh cabinet has taken a major step towards transforming Amaravati into a greenfield capital by approving engineering projects worth Rs 2,723 crore. This includes the establishment of a one million tonne per annum green ammonia plant and South India's first integrated energy project.

Information & Public Relations Minister K Parthasarathy highlighted that the TDP-led government is committed to developing Amaravati to international standards, contrasting it with the previous YSRCP regime's neglect. He revealed that development projects will receive financial backing from the World Bank, HUDCO, and Germany.

On a related note, the state's cabinet has given the nod to several key industrial proposals like AM Green Ammonia's facility, Tata Power Renewable Energy's solar project, and Reliance Industries' CBG plants, all aimed at boosting employment and investment.
