International airlines, including Virgin Australia, Jetstar, and Qantas, have resumed flights to Bali following a halt due to the eruption of Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in Indonesia.
The volcanic activity, which affected over 160 flights, caused considerable disruption. The resumption of some flights comes in the wake of conditions improving as of Thursday.
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka is scheduled to visit the affected areas, showing government support to the impacted communities. However, the flight operations remain cautious, with several international connections still on pause.
