Bihar's Hajipur followed closely behind with an AQI of 417, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The city's air quality deteriorated from 'very poor' levels noted since October 30, heavily influenced by vehicular emissions and particulate pollutants such as PM2.5 and PM10.
