Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Paatil has emphasized the urgent need for water conservation through technological advancements to secure a developed India. Speaking at prominent water management gatherings, he warned that inadequate water management could result in accountability from future generations.
The 13th High Powered Review Board meeting of the Brahmaputra Board revealed the strategic transformation plans and conservation strategies being prioritized. New operational units and specialized cells will bolster the Board's capacity to manage resources effectively.
The Springshed Management Workshop further highlighted sustainable water management strategies, fostering dialogue among stakeholders from various northeastern states alongside senior officials, to innovate and implement forward-thinking water conservation practices.
