Aiming to boost the country's climate resilience, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced fresh measures worth 4.37 billion euros for the flood-devastated Valencia area.
These funds are in addition to the 10.4 billion euros earmarked last week to address ongoing climate challenges.
The urgent response follows a devastating flood that claimed the lives of more than 220 people when torrential rains caused flash floods in Valencia on October 29.
