Four sugarcane cutters from Yavatmal disappeared in Seena River in Solapur's Madha tehsil. They went for a bath and one got caught in a whirlpool, with his three companions unsuccessfully trying to save him. A search operation is underway, but the bodies remain missing.

A tragic incident occurred on Thursday in Solapur's Madha tehsil when four sugarcane cutters went missing in the Seena River, a police official reported.
The men, all in their 20s from Yavatmal, were bathing in the river near Khairav village when one was ensnared in a whirlpool. In a brave attempt to rescue him, his three colleagues also vanished.
The local police have launched a search operation at the weir where the incident occurred. As of now, the bodies have not been located.
