Farm fire incidents in regions neighboring Delhi, particularly Punjab and western Uttar Pradesh, have significantly decreased compared to the same period in the past four years, according to recent data.

Haryana has also shown a decline in farm fire incidents, contributing to the moderate air quality currently observed in Delhi, as reported by the Central Pollution Control Board.

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee highlights that pollution peaks in winter, exacerbated by stubble burning, though the current year presents a lower incidence rate.
