Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually initiate a massive development drive in Maharashtra, unveiling projects worth over Rs 7,600 crore. Key highlights include upgrading Nagpur's Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport with a whopping Rs 7,000 crore investment, intended to spark growth in sectors like manufacturing and healthcare.
Also on the agenda is a new integrated terminal at Shirdi Airport, costing Rs 645 crore, providing enhanced facilities for religious tourists. The design draws inspiration from the sacred neem tree of Sai Baba, promising a blend of modernity and tradition.
Furthering his commitment to healthcare and education, Modi will launch ten government medical colleges and inaugurate the Indian Institute of Skills in Mumbai. Additionally, the Vidya Samiksha Kendra in Maharashtra aims to improve resource management and strengthen school-community connections via advanced data insights.
