Kantatoli Flyover: Paving the Way for Ranchi's Urban Future

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has inaugurated the highly anticipated Kantatoli flyover in Ranchi, marking a significant milestone intended to alleviate the city's traffic congestion.
During the event, Soren also announced 31 road infrastructure projects with a total investment of around Rs 3,264 crore, including foundations for new flyovers in Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Jamshedpur. Highlighting the flyover's rapid construction in just two years, Soren noted its future connection with the Siramtoli flyover, extending its total reach to about 5 km.
The Kantatoli flyover spans 2.4 km, with an estimated cost of Rs 224.94 crore, and was built using innovative precast segmental boxes. Despite its original foundation in 2017, the project faced various delays. Soren, prioritizing its completion upon taking office, revised its designs to minimize traffic disruption.
