Ranchi's New Transport Hub Set to Transform City's Traffic

Chief Minister Hemant Soren of Jharkhand inaugurated the state's first transport hub on Ranchi's outskirts, aimed at reducing city traffic congestion. This development marks a significant step in managing the urban load.
The initiative extends over 40.68 acres, costing around Rs 113.24 crore. In addition, Soren laid the foundation stone for the project's second phase, expected to be complete in 18 months, covering 9.12 acres at an estimated Rs 57.82 crore.
The hub, with a capacity for 424 trucks, includes an integrated building equipped with essentials like warehouses, recreational spaces, a fuel station, and office space. Future enhancements promise more facilities, easing logistics for transporters and expanding the urban landscape.
