Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2 Nears Final Stages of Approval

Detailed project reports (DPRs) for Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2, expected to cost Rs 32,237 crore, are being completed. Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy has reviewed the progress. The project includes six corridors covering 116.2 km, with final state approvals pending. Special focus is on innovative features for Fourth City Metro connectivity.

The detailed project reports (DPRs) for Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2, projected to cost approximately Rs 32,237 crore, are in the final stages, according to a senior official's statement on Sunday.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy recently reviewed the DPRs with senior officials from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development department.

Hyderabad Airport Metro Limited (HAML) Managing Director NVS Reddy presented the alignment, features, and station locations. The six-corridor, 116.2 km-long project is awaiting a traffic study report from the Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) before submission for governmental approval.
