Warsaw Zoo is reaching out to the public for name suggestions for a female baby southern pudu, one of the world's smallest deer species. The baby, born two months ago, hails from forests in Chile and Argentina.

An adult pudu stands up to 46 cm tall and weighs up to 15 kg. The zoo's marketing head, Anna Tadra, stated that the zoo's pudu population has now increased to four.

This birth is significant as the southern pudu is an endangered species. With name suggestions being collected on Facebook, Tadra highlighted the animal's elusive nature, often hiding under her mother's watchful eye.
