PM Modi Inaugurates Pune Metro and Launches Key Development Projects Across India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to flag off a Metro train in Pune on Thursday while also unveiling multiple development projects valued at over Rs 22,600 crore. Key among these is the completion of the Pune Metro Rail Project (Phase-1), including an underground section costing Rs 1,810 crore from District Court to Swargate.
Additionally, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Swargate-Katraj extension under Pune Metro Phase-1, estimated at Rs 2,950 crore, and dedicate three PARAM Rudra Supercomputers worth Rs 130 crore to the nation. These will facilitate pioneering scientific research at institutions in Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata.
Other significant projects include a high-performance computing system for weather and climate research, costing Rs 850 crore, and initiatives in the petroleum and natural gas sector worth Rs 10,400 crore, focusing on energy, infrastructure, and eco-friendly transportation.
