Central Tuscany is grappling with severe flooding that left two foreign tourists, a 5-month-old baby, and his grandmother missing, according to firefighters.

Rescuers are using divers, rescue dogs, and drones to locate the missing individuals. The baby's parents and grandfather were rescued from a rooftop after their flooded house in Pisa province.

The heavy rains caused a local river to overflow in Montecatini Val di Cecina, closing local roads and leaving 700 homes without power. Tuscany President Eugenio Giani remarked that the area hasn't seen such flooding since 1928.
