Tragedy in Uttarakhand: 12-Year-Old Boy Drowns in Kosi River
A 12-year-old boy, Dheeraj Bisht, drowned in the Kosi River in Uttarakhand's Ramnagar. Despite efforts by police and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), his body was found after two hours. A post-mortem will be conducted, and further investigation is ongoing.

A tragic incident occurred on Sunday evening when a 12-year-old boy, Dheeraj Bisht, drowned in the Kosi River in Uttarakhand's Ramnagar. The incident took place as Dheeraj was bathing with his family and was swept away by the strong current.
Despite prompt efforts by the police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the boy's body was recovered two hours later. Authorities have identified the boy as a resident of Nai Basti Pookhdi of Ramnagar.
The post-mortem is scheduled for Monday, and a further investigation into the tragic incident is currently underway, according to Ramnagar Tehsildar Kuldeep Pandey.
