Union Minister Highlights Green Highways and Ethanol-Powered Future for Pune
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the completion of the Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram 'palkhi margs', set for inauguration by December. The initiative includes tree plantation and the possible renaming of Pune Airport. Gadkari emphasized using ethanol for transportation to curb pollution and shared upcoming developments costing Rs 1.5 lakh crore in Pune.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the completion of the Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram 'palkhi margs', with plans for an inauguration ceremony by December.
Gadkari mentioned that 42,000 trees have been planted along the four-lane Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Marg and Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi Marg to create 'green highways'. He encouraged the state government to implement more plantation efforts.
Additionally, Gadkari stated that Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol proposed renaming Pune Airport to Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Airport. Gadkari said he plans to discuss this with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to pass the proposal.
