The death toll in the tragic collapse of a three-storey house in Zakir Nagar has risen to 10, according to district administration reports on Sunday.

Authorities have confirmed that one person is still feared trapped under the rubble. The deceased, whose ages range from five months to 63 years, have been identified. Meanwhile, the condition of a six-year-old boy, Sofiyan, is stable.

Injured victims, including Naeem (22), Nadeem (26), Saqib (20), and Saina (38), are being treated at Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College. The disaster on Saturday afternoon initially trapped 15 people, with three managing to escape as the building fell. Rescue efforts by NDRF, fire brigade, and police teams are ongoing until all debris is cleared. Senior officials are closely monitoring the operations.
