The ill-fated truck was traveling from Doda to Kishtwar when it met with the accident near the Mahlori area. The vehicle lost control and went off the road, leading to a fatal plunge.

Police confirmed that the deceased include the truck driver, identified as Amir, and another individual named Asif. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
