The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a severe weather warning for parts of northern and central India, anticipating heavy to extremely heavy rain over the next few days. The depression, originating from central India, is currently positioned around 50 kilometers south-southeast of Agra and equally distant north-northeast of Gwalior. It's expected to continue moving north-northeast, gradually weakening by Friday.

Uttarakhand is forecasted to experience light to moderate rainfall from September 12 to 14, with heavy rain in isolated areas. Haryana will see light to moderate rain, with occasional heavy showers between September 12 and 15. Both East and West Uttar Pradesh are also set for heavy to extremely heavy rainfall during this period.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, with a significant risk of flash floods in western Uttar Pradesh and east and west Madhya Pradesh. The IMD warns of potential urban waterlogging, traffic disruptions, and minor damage to infrastructure and agricultural crops due to the adverse weather conditions.
