PM Modi Chairs Inaugural ANRF Governing Board Meeting
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the first governing board meeting of the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) on Tuesday. The foundation aims to provide high-level strategic direction for scientific research, as recommended by the National Education Policy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday chaired the inaugural governing board meeting of the newly formed Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), officials confirmed.
The session aimed to set the stage for the ANRF, which is designed to act as the top-tier entity to propel scientific research in alignment with the guidelines outlined by the National Education Policy (NEP). Among those in attendance were Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the government's principal scientific advisor, Ajay Kumar Sood.
The mission of the ANRF is to cultivate, expand, and advance research and development (R&D), fostering a robust culture of research and innovation across Indian universities, colleges, research institutions, and R&D laboratories.
