Tiger Attack Claims Life of Farmer in Pilibhit

A 50-year-old man guarding his field was mauled to death by a tiger, officials said on Monday. The forest department has launched a probe into the incident.
Kedari Lal, a resident of Baskehra village, was found dead in his field with deep wounds on his neck and face, suspected to be from a tiger attack. The animal allegedly came from Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.
Divisional Forest Officer Manish Singh inspected the site and directed response teams. Madhotanda police and forest officials confirmed the tiger attack, which occurred at around 10.25 am. Measures to capture the tiger are underway.
