Himachal Pradesh is experiencing severe disruptions due to heavy monsoon rains, with over 60 roads blocked across the state, officials reported on Sunday.

The State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC) noted that the highest road closures occurred in Mandi. Additionally, 11 power and one water supply scheme are disrupted.

Moderate rains have lashed the region since Saturday evening, leading to significant rainfall deficit since the monsoon onset. The season has claimed 158 lives and resulted in losses of Rs 1,305 crore.
