The recent loss of three cheetahs in Kuno National Park prompted the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) to enlist experts from Reliance's wildlife facility in Gujarat. Official documents show that NTCA aimed to reassess the health monitoring protocols.

GZRRC Director Brij Kishor Gupta confirmed that a four-member team visited Kuno to review the cheetah health management protocols. Despite concerns raised by local activists, Gupta emphasized that all interactions with government and non-government entities are strictly non-commercial.

While NTCA continues to face challenges, particularly with cheetah fatalities, the project has also seen successes, including the birth and survival of multiple cubs in India.
