Heavy rainfall lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday afternoon, leading to waterlogging in several areas and significant traffic jams in parts of the city, including South, Central, North, New Delhi, and sections of Noida and Gurugram.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by light thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds at speeds of 30 to 40 km/ph across Delhi in the next few hours.
A yellow alert has been issued for the city, indicating bad weather that may worsen and disrupt daily life. Delhi's humidity level was recorded at 85%, and the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degrees Celsius.
