Speaking at a press conference, Rai stressed that despite the Delhi government's measures, pollution levels spike in November, necessitating emergency interventions like cloud seeding proposed by IIT Kanpur.

Rai urged the Centre to facilitate a meeting with relevant stakeholders to expedite permissions and called for cooperation to protect public health, while also dismissing accusations from the BJP of political posturing.
