AVP Infracon has successfully secured two noteworthy road construction projects in Tamil Nadu, valued at nearly Rs 71 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

The sub-contracts, overseen by CDR & Co Constructions, are expected to be completed within a year, AVP Infracon stated on Thursday.

The first project, valued at Rs 47.20 crore, involves widening the Kallakurichi-Tiruvannamalai Road (SH-6) from a two-lane to a four-lane highway.

The second sub-contract, worth Rs 23.6 crore, is for constructing a bypass to Bagalur town, connecting Kothapalli to Jee Mangalam.

Prasanna Dhandayuthapani, MD of AVP Infracon Limited, remarked, "The construction of the Bagalur town bypass and the widening of the Kallakurichi-Tiruvannamalai Road are critical projects that will enhance regional connectivity and support our national development goals."

AVP Infracon specializes in building projects, including roads, bridges, irrigation and canal projects, flyovers, and industrial infrastructure.
