In a decisive move towards technological advancement, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to devise plans to establish Amaravati as an Artificial Intelligence (AI) city.

During a review of the capital city's progress, Naidu stressed the importance of creating an English logo for Amaravati embodying the AI theme, symbolized by the letters 'A' and 'I'.

Condemning the previous government's destruction of the city's potential, Naidu emphasized that Amaravati, named after goddesses, should reflect cutting-edge technology. He mandated a swift revival of the capital city's development works, including completing the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) building within 90 days, involving futuristic technology in all constructions.

Accusing the YSRCP government of forsaking the HappyNest residential project, which had resulted in financial losses, Naidu instructed officials to recover and continue the project. Moreover, he emphasized on pooling additional 3,558 acres of land from willing farmers, resolving related issues amicably.

Advancing urban infrastructure, Naidu urged officials to expedite Metro rail projects in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Andhra Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation MD Ramakrishna Reddy outlined the two-phase development of the Visakhapatnam Metro, projecting costs of Rs 17,134 crore, alongside the Rs 11,000 crore Vijayawada Metro project.
