The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average opened higher on Monday, as investors sharpened their focus on the upcoming results from AI-giant Nvidia and a key inflation report later in the week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a modest rise of 25.76 points, or 0.06%, reaching 41,200.84.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 edged up by 5.05 points, or 0.09%, to 5,639.66. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 9.95 points, or 0.06%, to 17,867.85, with geopolitical tensions in the Middle East contributing to investor caution.
