A tropical storm watch has been issued for parts of the Leeward Islands, according to the National Hurricane Center on Sunday.

The developing system, referred to as potential tropical cyclone five, is anticipated to advance into a tropical storm by late Monday. Currently, it is positioned 950 miles (1,529 km) east-southeast of Antigua and exhibits maximum sustained winds of 30 mph (45 km/h).

Residents in the projected path are advised to stay updated on the storm's progression and prepare for possible impacts.
