Thirteen days post-devastation, survivors of the July 30 landslide in Wayanad's Meppadi region revisited their homes alongside search teams on Sunday.
Search operations, after a brief intermission, resumed in the landslide-ravaged area to locate the missing.
Rescued by the fire force, Gracy and Thankachan stood before their partially demolished house, which was filled with muddy sludge from the landslides. ''I still tremble from the memories of that night,'' Gracy recounted, as she described how they escaped to the second floor amidst the chaos.
