Over 40 people remain unaccounted for after a series of cloudbursts hit Kullu, Mandi, and Shimla districts on the night of July 31, causing widespread destruction.

Rescue operations are ongoing, utilizing sniffer dogs, drones, and other equipment. Additionally, 410 rescuers from various teams, including the Army and NDRF, are involved in the search efforts.
