Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday confirmed plans to create a 'fourth city' at Mucharla, designed to be a future metropolis following Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad. The new city will focus on AI, health tourism, sports, and other grand-scale developments.
Addressing the Legislative Assembly during the debate on the Appropriation Bill, 2024, Reddy described the new city as the 'future city,' which will be promoted as a premier investment destination worldwide. The city will also feature metro rail connectivity to enhance accessibility.
Among the proposed plans, a health tourism hub will be established on approximately 1,000 acres, offering advanced medical treatments. Additionally, a comprehensive sports hub, including international cricket tournaments and a golf club, will be built. An AI hub will span 200 acres, complementing the region's technological aspirations.
