The victims, identified as Shahista Ansari (36), Amima Ansari (13), and Umera Ansari (8), were swept away by a sudden surge of water. Two other children, Adnan Ansari (4) and Maria Sayyad (9), are still missing. The family, hailing from Hadapsar, had been visiting the scenic spot when they were caught off guard by the rapid rise in water levels due to heavy rain.
Search and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, and efforts to locate the missing children will continue the next day. This incident underscores the unpredictable dangers posed by natural water bodies during intense weather conditions.
