TDP MP from Kakinada, Thota Venkata Narasimham and wife joined YSRCP

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP from Kakinada, Thota Venkata Narasimham and his wife Thota Vani joined YSRCP today in the presence of party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The ruling Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh is racing against time to finalise its candidates for the April 11 state assembly and Lok Sabha elections with less than a week left for the commencement of nomination process. 

The TDP is also facing trouble selecting suitable candidates for many of the 25 Lok Sabha seats as two sitting members deserted the party while some others have declined to contest again. Pandula Ravindra Babu, who represented Amalapuram (SC) constituency, and Anakapalli MP M Srinivasa Rao had last month joined the YSR Congress led by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
