Efforts led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi have successfully repatriated a significant Chola-era copper plate from the Netherlands. The artefact will shortly be returned to its original home in Tamil Nadu. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to recuperating India's historical heritage.

State Minister Murugan expressed gratitude to Modi and highlighted the retrieval of over 600 smuggled idols as part of wider cultural preservation efforts. Modi’s focus on global recognition for the Chola dynasty also complements these initiatives. In his latest 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast, Modi praised Tamil Nadu specialities and student charity drives, enhancing a sense of national pride and community.
