Vice President C P Radhakrishnan arrived in Goa on Friday, marking the start of a two-day visit to the state. His arrival at the INS Hansa naval base in Vasco was greeted by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Governor P Ashok Gajapathi Raju.
Radhakrishnan proceeded to the Lok Bhavan near Panaji. According to a post by Sawant on X, Radhakrishnan's presence will enhance the 40th Goa Statehood Day celebrations scheduled for May 30th. The vice president is expected to leave Goa by Saturday evening, as confirmed by an official.
