INLD Protests Against 'Outsider' Hiring in Haryana

The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) staged a protest in Panchkula, accusing the BJP government of recruiting outsiders to government posts in Haryana, sidelining local youth. Led by INLD chief Abhay Singh Chautala, the party submitted a memorandum to combat what they call a discriminatory hiring practice. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini called the protest a political stunt.

The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) held a protest in Panchkula on Monday, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of Haryana of giving away government jobs to outsiders. INLD leaders claim that 90% of Group A and B positions have been filled by individuals from outside the state.

Led by INLD chief Abhay Singh Chautala, the protest took place outside the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) office. The party handed over a memorandum to the governor through the additional deputy commissioner of Panchkula, arguing that the state's youth are being unfairly deprived of employment opportunities.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini dismissed the protests as a political stunt. However, Chautala called for immediate action and threatened a statewide campaign to inform youth and parents about the hiring situation. The protest was non-violent, aiming to highlight the alleged discrimination against Haryana youths in public service recruiting.
