In response to the steep rise in petrol and diesel prices, the Delhi Congress on Saturday launched protests across the national capital. The demonstrations targeted petrol pumps and dairy booths, rallying against the BJP-led Centre's policies.
Amid growing economic strain, party workers from all 258 Block Congress Committees and Chandni Chowk District staged protests bearing placards with slogans denouncing government actions as inflationary.
Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav joined the demonstrations, demanding an urgent reversal of the price hikes imposed immediately after the Assembly elections, exacerbating citizens' financial challenges.
