The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) recently intensified its criticism of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, labeling him as an 'unfit leader' incapable of effectively heading the INDIA bloc. BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that Gandhi's leadership is causing the imminent collapse of the opposition alliance.
Patra's comments were in response to Gandhi's claims on social media, where he accused BJP leaders of 'vote theft' in elections. Gandhi's assertions, including allegations against the BJP's Haryana government, were met with stern rebuttals from Patra, who claimed that Gandhi's stance disrespects the electoral mandate.
Furthering the critique, Patra suggested that Gandhi's leadership has not only weakened Congress but has also impaired the broader opposition alliance. Patra accused Gandhi of disconnection from electoral realities and of leaving the country during crucial political periods, which, according to the BJP, contributes to the alliance's instability.
